Pope Francis has an effect on the world at large but after attending World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow one of the groups where the pope has had the greatest effect is on the youth.  They were screaming for him like he was a pop star, creating chants like “¡Esta es, la juventud del Papa!” (we are the youth of the Pope), and showing up in the millions to attend his final mass.  It was obvious in those days, the youth loved him and loved what he stood for.  This project grew out of these experiences.  Did the love of the pope go beyond the youth who could attend World Youth Day?  So questions were asked to the “Youth of the Pope” to see what the general public thought of Francis.  In almost all cases the people polled were grateful for this papacy and the message of mercy and acceptance he is calling people to live out.
